Impressive events in Zagreb are not a rare find, but this one seriously blew our minds. World on a Plate is a journey, primarily for your palate, through cuisines of the world – all from the European Square in the centre of our city. This tasty path will start from Croatia, then take you to Asia, Americas and back to Europe. Tastes are actually one of the best ways to get to know a new culture, not only the most delicious ones. Would you happen to know where samosa is originally from? Or maybe pancakes?

They will not stop on food, however. You can learn how to make your own Italian slippers, dance salsa like you were born in South America, or try out some Japanese fighting skills. The whole concept explores country by country, and starts around 5 p.m. each day. It ends 19.9, and you don’want to miss it, trust us.

Zagreb Burger Festival is here for the first time, so we welcome it with both arms! It starts 15.9, lasts ten days, and will be held on Strossmayer Square. Best restaurants in the city will supply this Festival with fresh meat, many of which we already wrote about. Beers and drinks will not leave you thirsty, and music bands will play until you decide to give up and head back. Oh and yes, there will also be a contest held in two categories: Mister Burger and Burger by People. Every vote matters.
